Great deal!!

I have been looking for a "Dr. Seuss" looking lamp base to go with the Dr. Seuss alphabet lamp shade that I got from Pam for Christmas.  I thought that I had found a great lamp at IKEA but the size of the light bulb holder was too big for the lamp shade.  This is the IKEA lamp:

Very cute but didn't work with the lamp shade.  I also looked at Walmart and the TJMaxx Home Goods store.  Tons of lamps but nothing that would work.  I was at Meijer today getting groceries and found a great lamp that was just perfect.  It was only $9.99 but was the only one on the shelf and the lamp shade was gone from the box.  I don't need the lamp shade but didn't really want to pay full price for the lamp without the shade.  So I talked to a manager and got the lamp for $6.00.  Man, I love getting a good deal!!!  Here it is:
