Magnificent Mile Parade

We have tried to get to the Magnificent Mile Parade every year and have encountered problems with the amount of people almost every year.  This year my mom got a hotel room on the parade course so we could come down early and make a day of it.  She also kept the kids overnight in the hotel.  What a brave lady!!

 Our view from the room.  It's pretty cold out so if all else fails we can watch from here!  The bridge is Michigan avenue and the parade comes across there and right down our street.
