We decided to take one last swim before heading out. I had a total of 7 hours to drive to get home, most of it alone with a 2 year old so I thought that tiring her out with a little swimming was a great idea! She started all over with her fear and barely let me hold her in the water... oh well. It was actually an interesting time to be in the pool, we got to watch the life-guards practicing with a toddler sized dummy. One of the life guards would put the "dummy" at the bottom of the pool and then create waves and a distraction. The other life guard would continue the scan of the pool and gave a thumbs up when she saw the "child dummy". I was very impressed!
