I'm almost 32 weeks. I thought I was almost 31 weeks but at my visit they pointed out that I was 31 and several days. I lost a whole week!!! I almost started to panic, strange over just one week. Everything at the visit is good, I'm measuring right on and her heartbeat is strong. I love hearing it!!
I'm overall enjoying pregnancy but I have a few complaints. I have had a few foot cramps and leg cramps here and there, but last night hit an all time worst. I woke to an extremely intense calf cramp, I just laid there whimpering in bed. Rob woke up to see if I was OK but any movement just made it worse. I tried to get up and limped to the bathroom. If finally subsided enough for me to get back to bed and to sleep. I woke with severe pain in that calf, I almost feel like I ran a whole race on my left leg. I have stretched and put heat on the calf with some relief but still have pain. I ate a banana today and drank a bunch of Gatorade, hopefully that will help!!
I seem to alternate good nights sleep. One night (like last night) I'm up numerous times and feel like I toss and turn all night and then the next night I almost sleep through the whole night. I'm happy to overall be sleeping well. I'm having a lot more back pain and get pretty uncomfortable if I sit for too long. I need to get up and move around. The belly support helps a ton but isn't good while sitting. I have been doing an exercise video which helps to loosen me up and strengthen but I should probably start swimming.
I feel her moving like crazy! She will kick and move so hard I can see my stomach moving. I hope she doesn't get too much stronger in the next two months. It is the coolest feeling in the whole world and wish there was some way to bottle this up so I could always remember what it's like to feel the baby moving. It makes it all worth it!
We are still working on her room. I finally finished scouring the closet shelves and Rob cleaned the ceiling fan. The crib is up and the glider is together and so comfortable. I have a few things to get at Ikea, a lamp, book case, and a hamper. Grandma is going to make some curtains out of Dr. Seuss fabric. It's really starting to come together and it's good to feel a little more prepared.
I'm going to have several showers that are all being planned. An invitation was just sent out at work. I'm really excited!!! It's fun to spend some time with work friends outside of the work environment.
As much as it seems like I'm complaining I really enjoying being pregnant. It is by far the coolest thing that I have ever done! It is just amazing to think that I'm growing a baby inside me and that she will be a whole separate person soon (but not too soon!) I'll post some pictures this weekend and some of our first babies one year birthday tomorrow!
When I was pregnant, I loved feeling the baby move, too, Kim. Every now and then, I feel gas moving through my intestinal tract which reminds me of the baby moving. It brings back fun memories. Unfortunately, the end result is different.
